Agunda

Eng – Agunda Apollonovna is a self-taught artist who was born in North Ossetia and moved to Spain in 2019. She made her first drawings at an art club, after which she started studying at the Kosta Jetagurov Art School. From that moment on, she never stopped painting and in 2020 she started doing it professionally.

In 2021, she presented her first exhibition “Without Limits” at various cultural associations in Andalusia. In this exhibition, the artist expressed on canvas the essence of people who showed her their scars, with whom she shared confessions and who helped her break the mold.

Agunda focuses on the combination of skin tones, sunset shades, as well as the light of the day in its different angles. “I love concentrating my attention on the color of each piece and line of the body that appears on the canvas and is formed thanks to different color combinations. I like to feel the energy of people, to get to know who I want to transmit to the canvas, expressing their true ‘self’ in their eyes and body lines.”

For Agunda, the main character is the woman. Her inspiration is the female body, the gazes, lines, and gestures of the body.

Esp – Agunda Apollonovna es una artista autoditacta que nació en Osetia del Norte y se mudó a España en 2019. Realizó sus primeros dibujos en un club de arte, después de lo cual empezó a estudiar en la Escuela de Arte de Kostá Jetagúrov. Desde ese momento ya no paró de pintar y en 2020 comenzó a hacerlo profesionalmente.

En 2021 presentó su primera exposición “Sin limites” en varias asociaciones culturales de Andalucía. En esta exposición la artista expresó en los lienzos la esencia de personas que le mostrarón sus cicatrices, con las que compartió confesiones y que le ayudarón a romper los esquemas.

Agunda se enfoca en la combinación de los colores de la piel, con los tonos del atardecer así como de la luz del día en sus diferentes ángulos. “Me encanta concentrar mi atención en el color de cada pieza y línea del cuerpo que aparece sobre el lienzo y se forma gracias a distintas combinaciones de colores. Me gusta sentir la energía de la gente, conocer a quien quiero transmitir al lienzo, expresando su verdadero “Yo” en los ojos y lineas del cuerpo.

Para Agunda su personaje principal es la mujer. Su inspiración es el cuerpo femenino, las miradas, lineas y gestos del cuerpo.
